Hi, I’m Sydney — a lifestyle photographer based in the Charlotte, NC area (but always ready to travel for a great story and an even better view). I specialize in capturing real, meaningful moments — whether it’s a cozy family session, a golden-hour engagement shoot, or the quiet anticipation of maternity portraits.

I grew up in Connecticut and got my start in photography after receiving my first camera in middle school. By high school, I was developing my own film in a darkroom, completely hooked on the magic of turning everyday moments into lasting memories.   Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of calling multiple states home and making them the backdrop for my work — from the quiet beauty of Vermont, to the golden glow of California,   and now the southern charm of North Carolina.

For me, photography has always been about capturing more than just a beautiful image — it’s about telling a story. The real magic in my work comes from the people I meet — the connections, the little moments, and the quirks that make each story unique. My mission is to create an atmosphere where you feel relaxed, confident, and free to be yourself, so your photos feel as genuine as you are.

When I’m not behind the camera, you can find me chasing down a great coffee shop — ideally one with big windows, a solid iced latte, and a cozy corner to set up my laptop for a bit. I’m happiest when I’m outdoors, whether it’s a long walk, a new hiking trail, or catching the sunrise or sunset. Exploring the Southeast has become one of my favorite pastimes — from the laid-back charm of mountain life to the easy-going vibe of coastal towns, I’m always inspired by the unique character and energy of every place I explore — plus, you really can't beat the views!
